Magallanes, one of the Morlais technology developers, successfully deployed 2 ADCPs in the MDZ on the 27th of April 2023. They are located at the following coordinates:
- 53⁰ 17.632 N 004⁰ 42.669 W
- 53⁰ 17.372 N 004⁰ 42.474 W
The ACDPs will remain in situ on the seabed until they are retrieved, most likely in a good weather/tidal window in June 2023 onwards. Notifications will be issued in advance of any retrieval operations
