Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) equipment deployments in the Morlais Demonstration Zone (MDZ)
St Andrews University – Sea Mammal Research Unit, successfully deployed 15 PAMs in the MDZ over the week commencing the 28th November 2022. They are located at the following coordinates:
The PAMs will remain in situ on the seabed until they are retrieved, most likely in the first good weather/tidal window from the March 2023 onwards. Notifications will be issued in advance of any retrieval operations.
