Anglesey Show Event

August saw the Morlais team attend Anglesey Show along with the wider Menter Môn projects. On the first day of the Show, tidal stream generators and our Supply Chain, Project Officer held a panel discussion, focusing on the key economic benefits a regional supply chain will bring to North Wales. Tidal stream generators spoke of the upcoming opportunities as they work towards devices going into the water from 2026 onwards with a wide range of sectors required. The local community and businesses were also able to learn how the procurements will be advertised via Welsh Government’s Sell2Wales platform. Regional businesses are advised to sign up to the supply chain mailing list to learn about further events and opportunities.
